Sol, the Mexican restaurant in bar in Woodcliff Lake, announced their closing.

The business, which opened just before the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020 — it replaced Blue Moon, shared their decision on social media.

It reads “It’s with a heavy heart that we at Sol have made the decision to move on. Many of you know we opened 2/14/20 and were overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from Woodcliff Lake and the surrounding communities.”

“This overwhelming support continued during COVID which was the most challenging time we had seen in our 25+ years in the restaurant business. We are so fortunate during our 3 years in this community to have met so many wonderful new customers as well as welcoming so many of you who followed us from our prior restaurant in Suffern, NY.”

“On behalf of everyone at Sol Restaurant we are truly grateful for you all and hope that you will welcome the new owners the same way you did with us. Sincerely, Eric, Jacqui and the entire Sol staff”.”
