Teriyaki One, a fast food restaurant serving “fresh, high-quality homemade meals” is coming to East Rutherford on Route 17.

The brand has opened six restaurants in New York Queens, Staten Island and New Jersey.

When preparing their signature teriyaki, they use “delicate, juicy chicken” (and other proteins like beef, shrimp, salmon) which is then marinated in a “flavorful sauce” — protein is then grilled in front of guess on an open grill.

In addition the menu (View Menu) includes salads, sides, and sushi, created with “fresh ingredients and homemade sauces” with “low sodium, no processed food, and no MSG”.

No word yet on an opening date.
