The Human Bean, a chain of cafes, has opened their first Jersey location in Dumont.

The menu (View Menu) includes specialty-grade coffee, real-fruit smoothies, whole-leaf teas and more.

In addition they also sell various food items — like hot breakfast items — along with drinkware and apparel.

With a reputation for “cheerful baristas and sustainably-sourced coffee”, The Human Bean has grown from a single location in southern Oregon to a nationwide brand over the last 24 years.

The brand is community-minded, with quarterly charity donations and many smaller local initiatives.

It’s currently open seven days a week.
