Hangry Joe’s (Website), the rapidly expanding hot chicken chain, will open a third location in Bergen County. First it was Northvale and another is planned for Closter. Next up is a location in Ridgewood. The brand was founded last year and has been on an expansion tear ever since. There’s now 20+ stores that have been popping up across Virginia, Maryland and Texas with expansion plans for Alabama and more. The focus is Nashville Hot Chicken, which includes six spice levels (the highest level “Angry Hot” requires the signing a waiver). Their menu (View Menu) includes sandwiches, fingers, bites, chicken & waffles, fries and more. There’s been no word yet on a proposed opening date and the address has not been revealed.
