Chip City, which Boozy Burbs first reported last August as coming to Ridgewood, will open this Saturday 2/18.

The location is replacing award-winning ice cream shop Ice Cream by Mike, which shuttered last year.

The business began in Astoria five years ago between two childhood friends aiming to “recreate the simple taste of their childhood”.

With locations across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island, they currently do not have a footprint in New Jersey – there’s one open in Newark (Read Story) and plans for a location in Hoboken.

Their menu (View Menu) features 18 classic flavors that are rotated every day.

Once open expect it to be open seven days a week.
