Launch Room Cafe, a luncheonette/sandwich shop, has opened in Bogota.

Owners are a husband and wife team, Renata and Edward Greenwald – both classically trained chefs. With decades of experience in many different areas (line cooks, catering, supermarkets, corporate stores, etc), they both left their jobs to follow a dream of having their own place. Both share the cooking, cleaning, and overall business duties together.

The space is decked out with vintage décor featuring music from the 50s thru the 80s – it’s “cozy” digs feature three seats and two counters.

They serve breakfast and lunch including homemade soups, imported meats and bread/pasties from a local bakery. Their specialty is 15 inch crepes with various fillings.

Sandwiches are made to order plus healthy options include items that are vegan and some that are gluten free. In near future they aim to expand their hot food options.

It’s currently open Monday thru Saturday from 8:00am till 4:00pm.
