Cafe Matisse has announced their return since going on hiatus back in November.

After a brief hiatus the Rutherford restaurant — which has consistently been named one of the best in the state: it was the last place to carry a four stars from The Record before the paper stopped publishing rated restaurant reviews.

They are planning to return on Friday, January 20th.

According to their social media, Chef Peter Loria has been taking time to recover from a partial knee replacement surgery.

Once open later this month, expect new menu items and specials to be served.
