Barley Moon, a new restaurant and craft beer bar, has opened in Pearl River.

Doug Faehndrich is the owner and operator of Barley Moon. Craft beer and great food has been a passion for much of his life and he decided to open Barley Moon to showcase the thriving local brewing industry.

The selection is “diverse and evolving” with over 50 brews including many from local and independent breweries.

He has curated a the beer menu and designed a food menu (View Menu) to compliment it.

The beer cheese is crafted using a rotating selection of local brews. The burgers are piled high with toppings and come with hand cut fries.

Chef Al, formerly of Cafe Anello in Westwood, “unleashes his creativity” by crafting desserts every day.

It’s currently open six days a week (closed Mondays).
