Verana, an Italian restaurant and bar, has opened in Norwood.

Chef/Owner Giuseppe Agostino spent six years at Del Posto in Manhattan (first Italian restaurant to receive a four star review (Read Review) from The New York Times since Parioli Romanissimo in 1974) and is working with his team from Maiella (LIC).

The “upscale” restaurant offers a menu (View Menu) of dishes like homemade pastas, seafood, meats and more.

A full bar program including craft cocktails is being served along with full dining available at the bar.

It’s currently open Tuesdays thru Saturdays.
