At number two was Ramen Azuma (Website), with locations in Englewood and Wood-Ridge. Their beef ramen was highlighted for being “rich and flavorful” with “lighter” broth.

The number four pick was Toroniku Spicy Miso Ramen at Hokkaido Ramen Santouka in Edgewater (Website). The stall inside Mitsuwa Marketplace received props for the “outrageously tender” simmered pork cheek dish.

Itshow Ramen and Tendon in Palisades Park (Website) made it at number seven with the Signature tonkotsu ramen, with pork baby back rib that “came right off the bone”.

Menya Sandaime (Website), with multiple locations in Bergen (Fort Lee, Paramus), was number nine for it’s Tsukemen ramen, complete with “smokey earthiness”.

And lastly was the Spicy Miso Ramen at Batten Ramen in Fort Lee (Website), which had a decent level of spicy without it being “overpowering”.
