Fig & Tomato, an Italian European eatery, has opened in Hillsdale.

The restaurant is from the team behind Cork & Crust and Raw Oyster Bar & Italian Kitchen in Harrington Park.

They’ve replaced shuttered Southern Italian restaurant Della Cucina, which itself opened seven years ago.

Similar to their other spots, this BYO offers an “extensive menu” (View Menus) containing Italian classics, brick-oven pizza, classic and specialty pastas, meat and seafood entrees — plus several European-inspired dishes.

There’s both indoor and outdoor dining, along with a room for private events — offering takeout, delivery and catering.

It’s currently open six days a week (closed Mondays).
