Dave’s Hot Chicken, the fast casual hot chicken brand that announced it’s intentions to expand in Jersey last September, will open a location in Wayne according to QSR Magazine (Read Full Story).

Founded by Dave Kopushyan and three friends in 2017, Dave’s Hot Chicken began as a pop-up and now has 65+ stores around the country and Canada.

They currently have more than 400 units committed since announcing a franchise initiative two years ago, with the Wayne store to be located at the West Belt Plaza shopping center on Route 23.

Their menu (View Menu) specializes in hot chicken tenders and sliders, with spice levels ranging from “No Spice” to “Reaper”. Each restaurant also serves sides of house-made kale slaw, mac & cheese and fries.

No word yet on an opening date, but likely sometime later this year.
