Chic Sugars, a black woman-owned boutique bakery and café, has opened a second location at the Garden State Plaza in Paramus – the first is located in Englewood.

After 12+ years in business, this is founder Erika Oldham’s first mall location.  Located in Center Court on Level 2 between Macy’s and Neiman Marcus, the café features sweet treats and coffee drinks – including fresh baked breakfast quiche, muffins and pop-tarts along with their cupcakes, macarons, cookies, cake jars and celebration cakes.

A true entrepreneur, Oldham grew up in the Garden State and pivoted from a law career to baking when she created her daughter’s first birthday cake.  Celebrity clients include Jay-Z, Missy Elliott, and Nicki Minaj, and she has appeared on Food Network’s Winner Cake All.

The new location is currently open six days a week (closed Sundays).
