Mochimoly is a new eatery now open in Park Ridge.

The menu will includes food made with mochi — specifically donuts and hotdogs.

Mochi donuts are chewier — due to their inclusion of mochi — than traditional and typically glazed with a variety of flavors. Mochi hot dogs — also called Korean corn dogs — are dipped in rice batter and deep fried.

Both of these dishes has become quite popular the last few years, with other nearby shops like Mochinut (Fort Lee, Paramus, Norwood) and Kai Sweets (Edgewater) providing similar offerings.

It’s currently open six days a week (closed Mondays) from 11:00am till 7:00pm.
