Lots of year end lists abound, including the Top 50 places to eat in North Jersey (Read Full List) shared by the folks over at Yelp.

Of course these 50 were spread out across “North Jersey”, chosen from within the restaurant category – they were then ranked “using a number of factors” that included volume and ratings.

One third of the restaurants overall were in Bergen County proper, with another bunch in nearby towns like Wayne and North Bergen.

Newcomer Amayar Kitchen in Maywood (Facebook Page) recieved top honors this year. The remaining restaurant’s on the list were:
