The Tavern, a new pub from the owners of 1Republik, has opened in North Arlington.

With “vast industry experience”, management is looking to bring “something new to the area” that is “more casual” but “still trendy”.

The overall concept is being described as a local spot that will transport guests “back in time to the speakeasy days”, but  with modern offerings like craft beer and cocktails.

The space is approximately twelve hundred square feet and has around 60 seats.

It’s currently open seven days a week till 2:00am.
