River & Henley, is a new bar and restaurant, is coming to New Milford. It will be replacing the now shuttered Section 201.

The Cifelli family is coming together to bring the business to life – “a trendy new spot to enjoy good food, great drinks, live music, host events, parties” and more. Joanne (the mom) owns academic child care center the Clifton Little School, while son Rocco operates The Hive Bar and Bistro in Garfield – they’ve also rought along  Sara and Amanda (daughters)/

It’s going to be a bar and restaurant that’s “very home-y, family oriented, cozy yet grand, industrial and eclectic”. Food and drink recipes will be “very carefully prepared” to go along with a “the warm and friendly atmosphere and the lively, energetic night time scene.”

The style of cuisine will be American bar food, offering items like tacos, salads, wings, burgers, sandwiches, pizza,  and more. The main focus will be dinner during the week and lunch and dinner on the weekends.

With approx 3000 square feett, the space will offer 120 seats and is aiming to open sometime in December.
