Deli-Style Dumplings are Headed to Bergen County
Brooklyn Dumpling Shop (Website), a restaurant that promises “dumplings reimagined”, is expected to open in Bergen County.
NYC restauranteur and founder Stratis Morfogen took his family’s legacy, the New York diner, and turned classic diner staples into dumplings. There’s a location on First Avenue in Manhattan, with many more planned.
The menu (View Menu) includes flavors like pastrami, Rueben, Philly cheeseateak, lamb gyro, chicken parm, and more.
The brand is also using the Automat format for serving, the old school vending machine system that was popular in the first half of the 20th century.
There’s no specific location as of yet, the location drop down on their website shares that a “Bergen County, NJ” location is coming soon.
