Details Emerge on the Three Chefs Steakhouse in Elmwood Park

Three Chefs Steakhouse is a new restaurant coming soon to Elmwood Park.

It’s replacing the now shuttered Twisted Elm, which closed back in the summer of 2019.

There’s three distinct chefs at the helm — hence the name — each bringing their unique expertise to the project. It’s also a steakhouse, though it’s being dubbed “hybrid”, focusing not only on great steaks but also a touch of Hispanic and Italian cuisines (see menu below).

Chef Amato has been the executive chef at a high profile venue in NYC for the past 30 years. His expertise ranges from “Southern Creole to traditional American”. He will also oversee all the desserts created in the restaurant.

Chef Zoila is most known for her namesake Zoila’s Kitchen in Garfield. Her expertise covers Latin cuisine and will be supporting the menu with dinner specials and “Latin dessert flavors”.

Chef Raymond’s experience in the business includes his USDA federally inspected company that services many restautants in the tri state area and cooking in family kitchens and a ten year stint managing the British Airway Lounge and first class restaurant at Newark Airport for ten years. His expertise is in Italian cuisine, plus his knowledge in the supply chain “assures the highest quality of products and ingredients” will be used in the restaurant. His early morning visits to New York food markets will provide the sourcing for the kitchen.

With 120 seats, they expect to be open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, with brunch launching on weekends sometime after they often.
