Neapolitan Pizzeria in North Jersey Has Announced Closing
Circolo, the Neapolitan pizzeria in Waldwick, has shared the news of their closing.
Owner George Kalivas shared the news in an emotional email this week, that with a “very heavy heart” he came to the decision.
Citing unprecedented times over the pandemic – including staffing issues, revenue decrease, costs increase and ultimately a mortgage. The full email can be viewed below.
The restaurant opened in early 2018, with George and Thea coming from a multi-year stint in Wyckoff at The Plum and Pear.
