The Great American Beer Festival competition recently awarded 290 medals in 2021, to some of the best commercial breweries in the United States (See Full Results).

Presented by the Brewers Association, the 35th edition of the festival is one of the largest commercial beer competitions in the world.

The best beers in 97 beer categories covering 175 different beer styles were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals during a the event’s first ever virtual ceremony.

For this year’s competition, three breweries from New Jersey were awarded for their beer in three different categories.

Mechanical Brewery (Website) from Cherry Hill was awarded Gold in the English Mild or Bitter category for their beer named Momentum.

Departed Soles Brewing Co (Website) from Jersey City was awarded Silver in the Gluten-Free Beer category for their beer named None Shall PATH.

Spellbound Brewing (Website) from Mount Holly was awarded Gold in the Wood- and Barrel-Aged Beer category for their beer named Porter Aged on Palo Santo.
