Dave’s Hot Chicken (Website), a fast casual hot chicken brand, has announced plans to open 14 locations in northern New Jersey.

Founded by Dave Kopushyan and three friends in 2017, Dave’s Hot Chicken began as a pop-up and now has 20 stores around the country and Canada. They currently have more than 400 units committed since announcing a franchise initiative two years ago.

Their menu (View Menu) specialized in hot chicken tenders and sliders, with spice levels ranging from “No Spice” to “Reaper”. Each restaurant also serves sides of house-made kale slaw, mac & cheese and fries.

No word on specific site locations just yet, though let’s hope they find space here in Bergen County.
