A new shop named Westwood Candy Company & Gift Shoppe will open this fall in downtown Westwood.

While the 1,350 square foot space is currently being given a facelift — former tenant You’re So Invited has relocated — ownership works on filling it with a wide variety of sweet treats and gifts.

They plan on offering a large variety of candy — full service chocolates, pre-packaged candy, seasonal confections, and retro candy. This includes Mission Chocolate from Brazil, which is otherwise only sold at 8 stores in the entire United States.

In addition the shop will offer “unique gift options” for all occasions, including birthday, baby, kids, wedding, ladies only and “seasonal” for guests of all ages.

Expect an opening sometime in mid-September.
