Nation’s Restaurant News recently shared a list of the 25 fastest-growing restaurant chains in America by unit count (Read Full Article).

Even with the “unprecedented difficulties for the restaurant industry” in 2020, many chains grew despite COVID-19, with those who saw the biggest year-over-year domestic unit growth being named to this list.

Coming in at number six (#6) was Point Pleasant-based Bubbakoo’s Burritos (Visit Website), who added 44 units last year — which represents an increase of 41.9% year over year — including one in Dumont to go along with existing stores in Oakland and Saddle Brook. Paramus and Edgewater locations were also rumored at one point as well.

This year appears to be no different with another announced for Park Ridge. The concept offers (View Menu) build your own burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, nachos and salads — along with wings, fries, tots, desserts and more.
