The folks over at Yelp have shared their picks for the Best chocolate chip cookie in every state (View Full List).

Timed to coincide with the celebration of National Cookie Day, their team jumped the gun early to enjoy “those sweet, round, slightly greasy baked treats”.

Even thought “the chocolate chip cookie is the king of all cookies”, no methodology explained on how this list was tabulated.

Baking Mama in Hoboken was the pick for New Jersey. According to their website, in addition to chocolate chip cookies they offer a variety of other cookies, cupcakes, macarons and more six days a week (closed Sundays).
