Bergen County Shops Represent on Top Ice Cream List

NJ.com staff have once again revealed the latest best of list, this time with New Jersey’s 51 greatest ice cream shops, ranked (Read Full Article).

Shared in the month of July, which is National Ice Cream Month, this is their first ever “ranked” ice cream list.

For those most interested in local, Bergen County had four representatives make the cut, including two top 10 rankings and one in the top 5.

At #5 was Ice Cream by Mike in Ridgewood (Website), with “Bergen County’s best ice cream” and suggestions of French vanilla or lemon.

At #9 Francy’s in Bergenfield, the highest ranking newcomer and a guayabano (soursop) flavor that was highly recommended.

At #32 was  Cranberry Junction in Hackensack (Website) which made the list with it’s chocolate and coconut options.

Another newcomer at #36 was Daniela’s in Closter (Website), highlighted for excellent ginger flavor as well as the Apricot pistachio.

And finally at #42 was longtime favorite Conrad’s Confectionary in Westwood (Website), which got props for their Black Raspberry.
