Hook & Reel, the seafood restaurant chain, has opened a location in Englewood.

It’s the second Bergen location for the chain — one opened last year in Elmwood Park.

They specialize in cajun seafood and the “vibrantly, flavorful and spicy cuisine of Louisiana”.

A seafood-heavy menu (View Menu) centers around a cajun boil, where customers can choose a seafood (clams, lobster, mussels, shrimp, etc), sauce (cajun, garlic butter, lemon pepper, etc), spiciness, and any extras like corn, potatoes, sausage and fries. There’s also fried fish baskets, po’ boys, soups, salads, and more.

Currently open at Palisades Court in the storefront that formerly housed BurgerIM and Schlotskys, the restaurant is open seven days a week beginning at noon.
