Smorgasburg (Website), the popular food market/festival from New York City, is launching its first-ever New Jersey location at Harborside in Jersey City.

The festival is set to debut on Saturday, May 29th.

It’s the largest weekly open-air food market in the country and a well known launchpad for many popular food businesses and trends over the last decade.

According to today’s announcement, it will be open 11:00am till 6:00pm every Saturday through October.

To start there will be 30 vendors representing NJ and NYC — a full vendor list has yet to be revealed — however a few of them were shared with the folks over at Eater (Read Story).
