Two Bergen Restaurants Have Best Empanadas in Jersey
Peter Genovese of NJ.com revealed the latest being N.J.’s 35 best empanadas, for National Empanada Day 2021 (Read Full List).
Even though it was last week, he describes empanadas as “economical compact car of the fast food universe”.
Empanada Mania in Bergenfield (Website) made the cut as they have in previous years. The Washington Avenue restaurant features a rotating selection of traditional and non-traditional (Buffalo Chicken, Pizza, French-Onion Soup) empanadas.
Empanada Shop in Wood-Ridge (Website) also made the list with Genovese recommending the beef, chicken and guava & cheese options.
