Hamburguesa, the Mexican “street food” burger restaurant in Carlstadt, is growing with another shop.

They are expected to open in Bloomfield, this would be their second location.

The menu (View Menu) is Mexico City-style burgers, hot dogs, potato chips, and shakes. The burger meat is custom blended in-house with a mix of flank steak and vegetables.

The restaurant is sister to Taqueria Los Gueros, the local Mexican food mini-chain. Ownership’s family once sold burgers out of a food cart in Mexico City, so the launch of a hamburger brand “felt natural” to them.

No word yet on an opening date.
