Bergen County Has Some of Jersey’s Best Italian Dishes

The lists keep coming from the team at NJ.com, the latest being New Jersey’s 25 greatest Italian dishes, ranked (Read Full List).

It’s suggested to “forget New York City” as “no one does Italian food better than New Jersey”. This includes every “street corner features a pizzeria, trattoria or cafe” , including a number of Bergen County restaurants.

At #13 was the Tagliatelle with bolognese at Osteria Crescendo in Westwood (Website). The dish was highlighted for its garlic breadcrumbs and being “unlike any other preparation of the dish” tried elsewhere.

At #23 was the Rigatoni Vodka with Suprema in Rutherford (Website). The dish was highlighted for being “perfectly al dente” with a sauce that had “just the right amount of bite”.

And finally at #24 was the Manicotti at Angelo’s Ristorante in Lyndhurst (Website). The dish was highlighted for “delicious cheese, topped with a rich and flavorful sauce”.
