Cafe Matisse in Rutherford (Website) was the lone Bergen County restaurant to make the list, which was highlighted for “colorful impressionist-style paintings and chandeliers create a playful, inviting atmosphere of simple elegance”.

Though not a restaurant, The Gardens at Wyckoff also made the list – the 13 acre “oasis of peace and quiet” was deeded to the township by the late Warner “Bud” Brackett.
