True Food Kitchen Expected to Open at The Shops at Riverside Mid-March

True Food Kitchen, the award-winning, seasonally-inspired restaurant brand announced today the it will open of its newest restaurant in Hackensack on March 17th.

Co-founded by integrative medicine expert, Dr. Andrew Weil, True Food Kitchen’s menu adheres to his anti-inflammatory food pyramid, which focuses on eating foods that help maintain optimal health.

The menu (View Menu) rotates regularly, allowing guests to experience different dishes and drinks, each crafted from seasonal ingredients so they can be eaten at “the peak of their freshness”.

It will occupy 6,628 square feet, with a 1,200 square foot patio made up of eco-friendly materials — including dining chairs made of recycled soda bottles.  This is the brand’s first location in New Jersey, which will be at The Shops at Riverside. The restaurant is looking to hire over 70 team members – including both front and back-of-house positions

With a dining room designed for social distancing, the restaurant will offer lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.
