Zai’s Dessertery is Expanding to Manhattan
Zai’s Dessertery (Website), the bakery that focuses on cakes, cupcakes, macarons and more, will be opening in Manhattan.
Former stay at home mom Zainab Illyas opened her first shop in Dumont, then moved to a larger Bergenfield location in 2019 and another in Cresskill this year.
She’s began baking since a very young age and decided to expand beyond her network of family and friends with a business all her own — and the first Zai’s Dessertery was born.
While the location is on the Upper West Side, the address has not been revealed.
