Opening Alert: Zai’s Dessertery, Cresskill, NJ
Zai’s Dessertery, the bakery that focuses on cakes, cupcakes, macarons and more, has opened a new location in Cresskill.
Former stay at home mom Zainab Illyas opened her first shop in Dumont, then moved to a larger Bergenfield location in 2019.
She’s began baking since a very young age and decided to expand beyond her network of family and friends with a business all her own — and the first Zai’s Dessertery was born.
Taking the space that previously housed Sweet Spot and The Lavender Patch on Union Ave, the store is open six days a week (closed Mondays).
