Zai’s Dessertery Will Open Cresskill Location this Weekend
Zai’s Dessertery, the bakery that focuses on cakes, cupcakes, macarons and more, will open it’s highly anticipated new Cresskill shop this weekend on Saturday, January 16th.
Having opened first with a Dumont location in 2017 and then moving to a larger Bergenfield location in 2019, former stay at home mom Zainab Illyas is bringing her take on baked goods.
She began baking since a very young age and decided to expand beyond her network of family and friends with a business all her own — and the first Zai’s Dessertery was born.
It’s taking the space that previously housed Sweet Spot and The Lavender Patch on Union Avenue.
