Aleria Bakery, a “Mediterranean Bakery with an American twist”, has opened in Cliffside Park.

The business is the result of three friends who have worked together over the years in different bakeries and restaurants.

Serving breakfast and dessert – with items baked fresh everyday – there is a selection of baklava, borek, simit (Mediterranean bagels), kunefe and katmer. They try to “add a difference to the classics” by making “unique versions” of baklava including the use of pistachios imported from Turkey.

The menu also includes Turkish teas and coffees along with traditional coffee and espresso drinks.

Currently the daily hours of operation are 7:00am till 10:00pm.
