With the current public health crisis that is COVID-19, Esquire asks what would happen if your favorite restaurant were to just disappear — something that has happened to many local restaurants this past year.

As the threat will only intensify during the winter, they’ve compiled 100 Restaurants America Can’t Afford to Lose (Read Full List).

There’s no specifics on how this list was tabulated, it appears they are simply picks from Esquire editors, but three restaurants in North Jersey (none in Bergen County however) made the cut.

Those would be Cowan’s Public in Nutley (Website), Egan and Sons in Montclair (Website) and Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville (Website).
