Runway Diner, a new restaurant from the Fairmount Eats (Hackensack) and Chiller’s Grill (Fort Lee) team, has come to South Hackensack. It replaced longtime restaurant Plaza 46 diner.

Owners are Nick Stathatos and Tarek Ebid have many years of experience in the restaurant industry, with Nick originally starting his career in New York City. Together they decided to create a new diner in the heart of South Hackensack.

The diner is the “home of trendy comfort food” with a “modern bar” featuring an “extensive selection of craft beers on tap and an extensive cocktail selection”. The menu (View Menu) covers many diner classics as well, much of it named using an airplane theme – presumably due to it’s proximity to Teterboro airport – serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

With 130 seats, the restaurant is open seven days a week from 7:00am till 11:00pm.
