The Salad House, a chain that specializes in freshly-prepared salad, sandwich and wraps, is expanding with a shop in Englewood.

With locations in Millburn, Morristown, and Westfield — with plans for Livingston and Montclair soon — this would be their first location in Bergen County.

The menu (View Menu) allows customers to pick from pre-configured salads, wraps, avocado toast, and more — plus the ability to create their own.

Customers can choose their “bed” (lettuce, rice, quinoa, etc), toss-ins (vegetables, seeds, eggs, fruits, etc), extras (chicken, pasture-raised steak, cheese, avocado, bacon, etc) and 20+ salad dressings including Lil Kick Chipotle, Tamari Thai Ranch and Avocado Poblano.

It will be replacing the short-lived Sweetberry Bowls on Palisade Avenue, though there’s no word yet on an opening date.
