Popeye’s, the global fried chicken fast food chain, will be opening another Bergen County location.

Currently under construction at the former Dress Barn location on Route 4, the brand has certainly seen it’s stature expand with the launch of it’s chicken sandwich last year (Read More).

It’s also the second most popular fried chicken chain these days in terms of buzz — Chick-fil-A continues to expand around North Jersey (Read Hackensack) and see long lines for recently opened shops (see their Ramsey shop).

With a number of locations in the area (Carlstadt, Little Ferry, Teaneck, Paramus, Rutherford and another slated for Hackensack), the chain sells traditional fried chicken, sides and more (View Menu).

Unfortunately no timeline on an opening date has been given.
