DVine Bar in Sparkill Re-Launches as “Fast Food” Concept

DVine Pie in Sparkill has made a few changes this past week, as they have closed their on-site dining and moved to a takeout model with a whole new menu.

Management made the decision for staff and customer safety, though they quickly realized simply putting Chef Chris Holland’s regular menu in takeout containers would be a mistake.

So Holland went out to make the food more travel and family friendly, taking his love for fast food and giving it his high end spin using his culinary talents — it’s now called DBFF.

He describes the new menu (View Menu) as “fast food made with ingredients that you wish fast food was made out of”. It’s smaller than their normal menu and is broken into three main categories of sliders.

The main focus is sliders including Waygu patties available in three styles: Truckstop (inspired by White Mana), the DBFF (inspired by McDonalds) and the steakhouse (inspired by Wendys), chicken sliders using all local farm raised chicken breasts that are crusted in cornflakes, and old menu items like bacon sliders and lobster sliders — along with beer-battered cod and a vegetarian option (crusted honeynut squash).

There’s also a selection of salads, wontons, and potatoes (chips or fries). Plus they will offer to-go cocktails. The store will be expanding for lunch and also plans on getting online ordering running soon as well.

And don’t worry DVine fans, the fine dining restaurant will come back once management feels it will be safe again.
