Governor Murphy Announces New Restrictions for Jersey Restaurants

After seeing an increase in COVID-19 cases, Governor Murphy has announced some new restrictions for the hospitality business (View Tweets).

Beginning this Thursday, November 12th, restaurants, bars, clubs, must close between 10:00pm and 5:00am for onsite dining. Takeout and delivery may continue past 10:00pm.

Bar seating is now prohibited, though tables in the restaurant may now be closer than six feet if they are “separated by barriers”.

In addition, “individual fully-enclosed dining bubbles may be set-up for outside use”.
