Salt Pepper Ketchup, a new breakfast and lunch spot, has opened in Hawthorne.

Rey De La Cruz and Wagner Mateo are the owners, spun off from delivering waffle sandwiches during the coronavirus pandemic.

Serving a mix of morning and mid-day eats, they opened last month on Central Avenue.

Their menu (see below) includes breakfast sandwiches, waffle sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, burgers, wraps, wings, yuca fries, empanadas, patecons and a few other options.

It’s currently open seven days a week.
