690 Park, a new restaurant and bar, has opened in Cliffside Park.

Owners Hakan Ar and Aydin Kurter both co-own Ora Café Bistro in Clifton and Lulu Lounge in Edgewater. They’ve brought in Chef Harkki Gokce, who has “15 years experience as a Michelin star chef in Sweden and Manhattan (Aquavit)”.

The menu (see below) is described as “sophisticated, American/Continental Cuisine” and they’ll be serving lunch, dinner, and an after hours bar menu.

Everything is made from scratch, including items at the bar — from simple syrups and juices to garnishes – curated by their beverage director, mixology consultant Wootak of Bar Chemistry.

Replacing the now shuttered Loft Public House, the two floor space will also host comedy shows, belly dancers, live entertainment and football specials. Delivery is available thru Uber Eats, Door Dash, and GrubHub.

Currently it’s open seven days a week from 12:30pm till 2:00am.
