The Great American Beer Festival competition awarded 272 medals in 2020, to some of the best commercial breweries in the United States this past week (See Full Results).

Presented by the Brewers Association, the 34th edition of the festival is one of the largest commercial beer competitions in the world.

The best beers in 91 beer categories covering 170 different beer styles were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals during a the event’s first ever virtual ceremony.

Kane Brewing Company (Website) was the only medal winner from New Jersey this year. The Ocean Township-based brewery was the gold medal recipient in the Wood & Barrel-Aged Strong Stout category — there were 199 total category entries — for their A Night to End All Dawns.

A Night to End All Dawns was previously the winner of a 2014 Gold Medal and 2018 Silver Medal at the festival and a 2016 Gold Medal recipient at the World Beer Cup.
