Cheeseburger in Paradise Closes Last Location in Secaucus

Cheeseburger in Paradise, the Jimmy Buffet-themed burger restaurant chain has closed it’s last remaining restaurant – it was located in The Plaza at Harmon Meadow in Secaucus.

Their website (Visit Site) shares the news, including thanking customers for their “patronage over the years”. It appears the closure happened sometime over the last few weeks, likely due to the struggles many restaurants and businesses are facing from COVID-19.

The location was supposedly their “top performing location” according to a report by northjersey.com back in 2018.

Their corporate parent Luby’s converted many of the former locations into Fuddrucker’s – a brand they also own –  though that would seem unlikely as they recently began liquidating their business.
