Hook & Reel in Englewood to Serve Alcohol

Hook & Reel, the seafood restaurant chain that’s coming soon to Englewood (replacing BurgerIM in Palisades Court), appears to have acquired a liquor license.

They specialize in cajun seafood and the “vibrantly, flavorful and spicy cuisine of Louisiana” with a menu (View Menu) centering around cajun boil, where customers can choose a seafood (clams, lobster, mussels, shrimp, etc), sauce (cajun, garlic butter, lemon pepper, etc), spiciness, and any extras like corn, potatoes, sausage and fries.

It’s unclear how many of the other Jersey stores (four already open, with another four currently planned) have alcohol, though their website mentions signature cocktails, draft beer and a full bar at other locations.

The chain opened earlier this year in Elmwood Park and expects to open in Englewood soon.
