Southbound BBQ in Chestnut Ridge to Close at End of Month
Southbound BBQ, which opened about three and a half years ago in Chestnut Ridge, has announced their closing at month’s end.
Their menu offers some creole, cajun, “Southern” favorites (i.e. fish fry, gator bites) along with what was a “serious” whiskey selection (over 120 varieties).
“Between the effects of COVID-19, creditors who are unwilling to work with us and a 60% drop in our business, we cannot continue.” were some of the details shared on their social media (View Instagram) as they invite guests to come visit for their final two weeks.
Hours will be Wednesday thru Friday from 4:00pm till 9:00pm and Saturday thru Sunday from 1:00pm till 9:00pm with reservations recommended.
