The Daily Male shared it’s list of The Most Iconic Pie in Every State (Read Article).

Calling pie “a quintessential American dessert”, the dessert has been around for hundreds of years and a staple – iconic enough that states have signature pies.

We didn’t check to see if this was the only one, but the iconic pie from New Jersey isn’t dessert.

They gave it to the tomato pie, the thin crust pizza made with tomato sauce that goes on top of the cheese. Made famous in the Trenton area, one of the most highly regarded eateries serving them is Papa’s Tomato Pies (Website) and De Lorenzo’s Tomato Pies (Website).
